Stroudwood Cottage, Upham

This was a transformational project in Upham, Hampshire aimed at increasing the size and modernising of an already existing family home including a single-storey extension to the rear & the side of the home. Stroudwood Cottage was once a local inn called The Stroudwood Arms and then later used as a Horse Mail Station for the area before it ceased in the First World War so presented a very interesting opportunity. The result is a roomy, airy, and modern lifestyle, which seems to be optimal in terms of the modern family on what was previously a two storey character property.
